From scandinavia comes Daudsvevna with it's debut LP, an highly expressive record with it's roots in the
vein of early pagan black metal.
The music is cold and raw as old school black metal usually is, but in the same time from another aspect romantic and euforic almost as if it gives the listener a feeling of hope for tomorrow. The record´s red line is easiest described about the dynamics between good and evil or maybe the abscent of good and evil as you can se it all as parts of the same picture where everything is needed to be complete.
As the titel hints Daudsvevna recognizes it's full heritage embracing order in harmomy with chaos..
The lyrics throughout the record could be about regular things in our everyday life but could also be
about something far more crucial, some lyrics are highly influenced by northern mythology and many of the events from
example the poetic Edda are mentioned and used metaphorically to dress up something that the listeners
must decide for themselves what it is.
